5 Months Later

Hey everyone who has read this blog. I’m coming to you now a little bit into my junior year. I’m living in a house with all of my friends, and it’s amazing. I just came back from fall break with my ex and another friend. I kinda wrecked up my diet but who the hell cares, I’ll just get back on track. I’ve lost 15 lbs since I was last writing this blog, and had an amazing internship at a residential treatment facility for emotionally disturbed teens. I’m feeling good about my life, better than I’ve ever felt before. And this will be my last post on StS.

Final Grades

Abnormal Psychology- A-

Costume Design- B+

Psych of Adolescence- B-

Shakespeare- Satisfactory

This semester, my GPA did drop, but only by .01 points.

This… sucks.

Done

I just handed in my last paper. I am done with my sophomore year. <3 I may reprise this idea for my junior year but I don’t know. I’ll put up my last post when my grades come in and tonight I’m going out to see Iron Man with mah buds.

Moving Out, Please!!!!

So I’ve been trying to move into Aria’s dorm for a while since pretty much all my friends and my friends’ friends who I think I’d probably get to be friends with if I was there all live there… ha… say that 3 times fast. But I’m currently in To Be Announced housing and I have no idea where I will be next semester.

Anyways, the more important part of the story goes, I went to lunch with Aria and we sat down at this huge booth and little by little people from her dorm started kind of trickling over to us. So the group went from us 2 to about 5 people… and it was one of the best experiences I’d had since I got to college. Even though I ended up debating some Buffy stuff with one of them whose views of the show I seriously disagree with but it was still a very pleasant experience. I talked with a friend in my Costume Design class about our final projects and it was just… enjoyable.

God I wanna move in with my frieeeeendsssss…. T-T

Oh Shit.

The way things sit… I’d have to get all my class participation points and ace the final to get an 88 in Psychology of Adolescence. Which I’m not. It leaves me with the terrifying realization that I might get a C+ in this class. Holy Shit. He gave us an opportunity for a 4 points of extra credit. Guess how I am spending MY morning.

Change of Minor

Instead of going through the hoops of designing a minor, I’m just going to be a theatre minor. I already have Acting and Costume design under my belt. I’m taking Directing next semester.

So far next semester looks like this-

I think I can pull that off.

Soooo…

Ever had that thing where you thought something was due on day X and it turns out to be due day X-5….  So the Ab Psy final project I thought I was supposed to have done by the 2nd, was due tomorrow. So I got it done, it didn’t take me that long. I’m just glad I got through it without an anxiety attack! Oh this is so cause for a party

I HAVE CONQUERED MY ANXIETY!!!!! Mostly

Sorry I haven’t been posting much lately. Life has been kind of intense, I suppose, and kind of down as well. I’m starting to really feel the emotional effects of my grandfather’s passing and… I dunno… I’m very jumbled up and I still have to finish out the semester. I should have most of it under control.

Sorry I haven’t been all posty. On top of work and convention and an internship interview (which I landed, details to come) my grandfather just passed away so… time = occupied.
