One Assignment Left!

All I have left is my Shakespeare paper! *throws a little party*

Soooo…

Ever had that thing where you thought something was due on day X and it turns out to be due day X-5….  So the Ab Psy final project I thought I was supposed to have done by the 2nd, was due tomorrow. So I got it done, it didn’t take me that long. I’m just glad I got through it without an anxiety attack! Oh this is so cause for a party

I HAVE CONQUERED MY ANXIETY!!!!! Mostly

Anyways with two weeks to go here is what I have for each week.

Sorry I haven’t been posting much lately. Life has been kind of intense, I suppose, and kind of down as well. I’m starting to really feel the emotional effects of my grandfather’s passing and… I dunno… I’m very jumbled up and I still have to finish out the semester. I should have most of it under control.

I Have A Thesis- It Could Be Hormones

So I gotta get cracking on this paper at some point. I was talking to Clay (very cool guy, Google him, Clay Robeson, I know him via Buffy Between the Lines) about it this morning, he was telling me about a paper he wrote proposing that Hamlet’s problem was excessive inbreeding. I told him about my paper last semester where I argued that Macbeth was possessed by the name/spirit of the traitorous Thane of Cawdor.

Anyways, my R&J paper is gonna be the easiest topic I can think of- sex and death imagery! Yay! And I got to thinking about their death scene and I came to this conclusion.

You know, with her stabbing herself and him drinking poison from a cup, it would be like they were consumating their marriage… but they screwed already so it doesn’t really work… maybe I can talk about that if in my paper…

As break winds down…

Wow… I’ve done absolutely nothing this break… Oh well, being in Maine has been fun.  Look at all the pretty!

Woo and Hoo

Coming to you live from my new laptop. Which I can actually take places because it has a battery that works… and the Sims plays at a speed which makes the game faster than real life. Gasp!

Anyways I have finished my midterms (AbPsy and Shakespeare) for today, I have therapy in a little while, so until then I’m just going to chill with my new compy!
Oh dear. I think I botched my Shakespeare midterm. We had 12 quotes out of which we had to identify and talk about the significance of 10 of them… I knew 8. So out of the four I didn’t know I chose the 2 I could most easily bullshit. I think it was a solid plan.

And I continue to regress..

Okay well I decided in the middle of midterm studying that I was sick of Shakespeare and trying to cram the themes of Richard II and Troilus and Cressida into my head… and decided to just… blast the Disney music and dance around.

This may have been brought on by the Disney Princess sims Aria and I made today. I got a pic, but it’s all wonky colored. I don’t know what went wrong. But in there are Snow White (as a goth), Cinderella, Belle, Ariel (who I think turned out the best. Got this bright red custom hair that works so well), Jasmine, Mulan, and Esmerelda because Esmerelda is just awesome.

And I got to see El tonight, which yay. Always a yay. But feeling very emotionally whirlwindy. Shakespeare beckons… damn.

Long week and its only thursday…

The weeks go way too fast. It gets to be Saturday and you go holy shit tomorrow is Sunday which means the day after that is Monday. But then you go the way after that is Tuesday which is almost Wednesday, which means only two days until the weekend. And then it gets to be Thursday and you think where did the week go? Holy shit the week is almost over and then it’s Friday and you think you can chill but then it gets to Saturday and it starts all over again. I greatly dislike this pattern.

I’m working on the paperwork to take Shakespeare as a pass/fail course, I don’t wanna worry about a grade I know will be a B or a B+ when I want mostly A-s

I have 6 costume designs for Machinal due monday and an online quiz for AbPsy… other than that I think I’m sitting pretty.
